This fun mix of songs from the 70’s and 80’s will get you moving! Each tune contains a form of the word “dance” in the title.
Grab your cassettes, it’s time for a little fun!
I love music. And one of the reasons that I do, is because it can easily change my mood. Something upbeat will always motivate me to get up and get moving.
The playlist I have put together today is all about “dance”. Each song is from the 1970’s or 1980’s and contains the word DANCE (or a form of it) in the title.

Do you remember all the different dances from that era? I will admit to being a bit preferential to the dances of the 70’s. I could do the Bus Stop like nobody’s business. I was also a big Saturday Night Fever fan…and I’d still have my autographed John Travolta poster hanging up on the wall, if I had any idea where it was!
The 70’s gave us these iconic dances:
- The Hustle
- The Bump
- The Bus Stop
- The Robot
- The Disco Finger
How fun! And a real blast from the past. Thanks for sharing… it brightened my morning.
Hi Gail! I am so glad you enjoyed it 🙂
How about Dance, Dance, Dance by Chic? Love this playlist!

“She Wants to Dance With Me” – Rick Astley
